In July 2023, I became a marketing assistant at Sew Steady, an international quilting tools company located in Eugene, OR. This really was my swiss army knife job. I did practically everything under the sun; email marketing, video editing, social media management, web design, web coding, event marketing, graphic design, and so on...

Video Editing
My job originally consisted solely of video editing for pre-recorded weekly live classes as well as creating product commercials.
Media Management
In November 2023, I assumed more roles at Sew Steady, managing all the company's social media accounts. I implemented my media strategy skills to increase traffic to their Instagram account and redesign their posts to suit the algorithms of Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
Event Marketing
A really big part of my job was creating marketing materials to promote all events and classes; as well as create the materials needed for each course whether that be instructions, schedules, patterns, supply lists, etc. New education is launched every week, and we visit quilt shows at a minimum quarterly, not to mention our live events, which occur at least twice a week (needless to say there were a lot of marketing materials being made).
